Annealing

Annealing Products is a fancy word for when you heat up metal and let it cool down slowly. This critical process can strengthen or facilitate working with the metal. When metal heats up, the tiny particles that make it up, known as atoms, begin to move around significantly more than when they’re cold. After the metal is heated, we allow it to cool very slowly. Atoms interlock better when it cools slowly. This helps strengthen the metal and prevent it from tearing apart. Other types of metals such as steel are commonly annealed so it can relieve any stress that may have been built up in the metal from its production or forming.

Improving Material Properties

When we heat materials to the next temperature, we time to call it annealing, which means heating it up, which actually improves the material properties. For instance, it could solidify, fortify, and make the metal simpler to implement in other goods. It’s like making cookies, just think of it that way. When you make cookies, you need heat and time to make them taste right. If you don’t bake them long enough, they may be too soft, and if you bake them too long, they can burn. Annealing Products is similar in that it relies on the combination of heat and time to render metal more good. Instead of providing a nice flavor to cookies it makes metal stronger and more useful.
